Who are we?

Education Evolution was founded by Vicky Glazzard and Carly Beale, who are two motivated and hard-working finance professionals. Between them they have over 35 years’ experience of the private and public sectors including 15 years of accounting for and advising both schools and academies.

Following separate careers in local authority finance, Carly and Vicky together recognised the need for finance training and support in education and subsequently embarked on a new path in the education sector. Their most recent appointment saw them job share as Chief Finance Officer for a rapidly expanding Multi-Academy Trust. Their down to earth, no nonsense attitude makes finance understandable for everyone!

They have undoubtedly experienced the day-to-day challenges that the education sector faces.

Vicky’s knowledge, drive and initiative makes her stand out from the crowd. Within her 25 years experience of both public and private sector finance, she has gained considerable exposure from both education and technical accounting.

In private sector she worked for Tarmac Topmix Ltd, National Exhibition Centre, Fruit of The Loom, Claire’s Accessories and National Express. In the 15 years she worked in private sector she gained experience from many different areas and has always maintained the respect of staff and management team alike.

In her spare time Vicky is a qualified fitness instructor – there is no stopping her! At home she has two young sons inspiring a personal drive for the best education. Combining this with her professional knowledge she is confident in delivering one of the best services in this market.

Carly is self-motivated, determined and has a meticulous approach to work. She takes pride in the advice she provides when helping clients achieve their goals and her reputation is second to none.

Carly’s career started in private sector as a bookkeeper before she joined the local authority to provide accountancy support in the education sector. Throughout her 13 year local authority career, Carly climbed to more senior heights and worked in several teams from education to adult social care, technical accounts and support services like treasury, VAT and charity accounting.

However, Carly believes that investing in people is as important as investing your money, which is demonstrated in her professional speaking work. Combining this with her motivational influence and financial management skills, Carly is determined in delivering to our children the best education opportunities possible.
